Celebrating 10 years of E2beauty + Company!

Reflection:

My friend Eunice mentioned this moment from the party, “When you two were speaking, the sun was so bright. I’d imagine Elaine is very pleased” (it was literally raining on and off in the morning)

I had some anxiety going into year 10. I felt like I had to do something bigger or better… do something different. I also had to think about whether we would renew our lease since we’ve hit 5 years in Santa Ana.

I just don’t know when the end is, but I know it will be clear when it is.

But I had a dream in the beginning of January…

Elaine (past co-founder of e2) walked into my salon from the front door as if she was a visitor.

I was at the shampoo station- I think Sarah was next to me.

I was obviously shocked and was wondering if she really died.. it was like she came back to life.

I was thinking about what she could do at e2 now that she was back and realized that everyone took on her old roles. As I was thinking about what she would do, she told me she was just visiting and was happy with how everything was!

I must have woken up at that point… but I felt a feeling that I was ok. E2beauty is ok. And our team is ok. We all stepped up. There was a sense of comfort and being content.

I don’t think I felt ok for a few years, but didn’t realize it because of all the transitions in my life and business.

When I shared this with my team at our retreat I was a total crying mess, which I don’t know if I’ve cried like that in front of them.

I’ve been trying to keep it together for a while and it all came out!

At our anniversary party, it was so amazing to see people connecting with one another bc they get their hair done at e2beauty and somehow know each other from somewhere else…it also happens all the time in our salon.. like ohh I didn’t know you come here, etc etc

I hope we can connect one another- support each other- care for each other.
